WWII ANTI AIRCRAFT SCOPE - 3 COLOURS
This World War II solid brass telescope/sights were part of an Anti Aircraft Direction Finder. Called a Telescope Elbow, it is stamped C78175 and B172849. It has a manufacturer plate which is quite corroded, but you can make out the detail. It was manufactured by the Minneapolis Honeywell Regulator Co.and is dated 1943.
The scope has three filters which are controlled by the dial on top, being red, amber and neutral with a clear setting. It is working and there is a small chip in the bottom of the front lens.
Base plate is 13cm diameter x 30cm long x 15cm tall.
